Competition Sound

Competition Sound did a great job replacing my old factory car stereo and back up camera. John took care of me in sales after listening to what would be the best fit for me. Joe in service saw me a couple of times after I had some issues getting Sirius/XM to work. He got in the vehicle while I was talking to Sirius staying with me until Sirius figured out the issue. He gave me great service doing that for me. He then showed me how to program Sirius favorites. Everything works great now.

Originally I brought in my own amp/subwoofer and I was looking to get it installed professionally with a warranty. I first got it installed and then within the first two weeks it was having a couple issues. They then got me scheduled to come back and fix it and they were pretty quick to do so, and they took care of me. I would recommend their services.

Kyle seems like nice enough manager and person. I did not have a good experience with their work. I wanted to upgrade applecarplay in my 2015 bmw 5 series. Software works well enough however screen was damaged on installation. When I appoached them about the issue they said it was an older car and that the screen must have started malfunctioning as a separate issue right when they installed carplay. There are now 3 "cold spots " on the screen that makes seeing some of the apple carplay features difficult. I expected more from what I have heard of this business. I remember a time when doing a good job mattered and working to make things right was important. iI reached out to kyle several times about the issue, discussed with staff and really coudnt be bothered. I hope others have better experiences. MBJ

I had purchased a couple subs and a box from this place and while they had a decent selection, nice layout, and knowledgeable while not being condescending which is common in this industry. What made my experience great was Jorge. Shopping for what I wanted was fairly average except them not having the box for my truck in stock, so they loaned me a box until the one I needed came in (pretty cool) but upon returning to pick up my new box, I was under the impression by the sales associate that I would be swapping the box myself in the parking lot (not a big deal but inconvenient) when Jorge noticed me, called me over, and set the thing up for me despite being busy on another project! Wasn't expecting it, it wasn't necessary, but it was awesome costumer service. He made sure I wasn't going home with an incomplete system and with his dedicated experience and tools, had me on my way in a few minutes. If i were to return with anything I needed them to install, I would 100% trust Jorge. Definitely recommend this place for the sole fact that they're technician, for no other reason but to help a guy out, went out of his way to display a kind gesture with a level of professionalism that I ha
